This is not a joke!
As a citizen of the United States, I’m disgusted! I’m disgusted that our financial institutions have failed us so dramatically and that our government has allowed this crisis to evolve. I feel very helpless during these stressful times. Many people have lost their jobs, their homes, and/or their retirement accounts. Many more will, too, before this all bottoms out.
So what can I do? I’m just a regular working stiff with no clout. I do my 9-5 and try to make time to enjoy my family. But, in the back of my mind, I can’t help but wonder when my job will be downsized or if the firm will even continue to exist. It’s frightening to think about.
What can I do? I can sell this little Wall Street Coffin and donate 15% of the proceeds to some good charities that help people through difficult times. Donations will be made to the following organizations:
Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. To date, Habitat has built more than 250,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1 million people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter.
United Way is a national network of nearly 1,300 local organizations that work to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. United Way seeks to give everyone the opportunities to achieve a good life.
15% of the proceeds from every sale made
through WallStreetCoffin.com will be
donated to charitable organizations.

@Brenda:
We have donated close to $400.
Brenda Says:
Great idea - how’s it going and how much have you been able to donate to charity?
Jimbo Says:
I suppose you’ll be needing to make a site for CarCoffins.com. RIP GM, RIP Chrysler, RIP Ford. Get ready to write some more bailout checks people.
Mike Says:
This coffin is awesome. I just ordered 5 for some of my investment banker friends at Merrill Lynch. Thanks for the laughs and keep up the good work!
Harold Says:
This is a great idea. We can use a little humor to relieve our
every day pressure. Good luck.
